Following his new contract extension for Manchester City, forward Kelechi Iheanacho has become the highest paid Nigerian in the Premier League.
Iheanacho recently signed a new two-year contract extension which will keep him at City until 2011.
According to African Football, his new contract guarantees him a weekly wage of £85,000 which is the highest for any Nigerian player.
This new wage takes him above Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi who earns £75, 000 weekly at Stamford Bridge.
Victor Moses is third on the list with an earning of £50,000 per-week at Chelsea while Odion Ighalo is fourth on $25,000.
Chelsea defender, Kenneth Omeruo rounds up the top five with a weekly salary of £15,000.
