Brymo speaks on controversies, music and more

– The Ara singer, in a new interview with HFTv, also touched on the need for creativity as nothing surpasses the act of music
Controversial Nigerian singer Brymo was the guest on this week’s episode of Da Chat with Zinnia on HFTv Africa and he spoke on a range of subjects from Chocolate City to his love life, baby mama and more. The Ara singer opened up on his early beginning in music, saying he wrote his first song at the age of 14. He also talked about charting a different path from what his father wanted for him by getting into the arts.

His father wanted him to study and become a doctor. The entertainer also spoke on his music journey leading to the point where he dropped out of school to fully pursue his dreams in entertainment. The eccentric musician then touched on the Twitter drama of June, 2016 wherein he told a fan to drop out of school and chase his dreams. Recall that on Saturday, June 4, 2016, a fan tweeted at the Ara singer requesting some money to settle his fees in school but got a surprising response instead.
He discussed as well the business of making music in Nigeria and getting adequate returns and all that. He also touched on the shortcomings in the industry, the need to evolve and the income flow in the entertainment industry. According to Brymo, he was supposed to get paid for making the hit song Oleku but he never did. He also explained that his contract at Chocolate City was lifted off the internet and unfitting for the Nigerian market. It was a packed and revealing episode with the Oleku hit maker.
